‘I CHOOSE PEACE’ AZZIAD NASENYA ADDRESSES DEBT ALLEGATIONS

By  |

Content creator Azziad Nasenya has broken her silence on the recent debt allegations surrounding her, during an exclusive interview on Soundcity Radio

In an interview, Azziad addressed the rumours. When asked why she didn’t immediately address the allegations to clear her name, Azziad responded, “If you know me, you know me. If you understand how social media works, you’d realise that if I responded to every rumour, I’d have a full-time job just doing that. I believe in handling real issues the right way privately, professionally, and with the people involved. If I hurt anyone, I address it privately, not on a trending hashtag.”

Azziad also revealed that she discovered the source of the leaked voice notes that fuelled the allegations. “Yes, I did find out who did it. Here’s the thing: we’re all human, and we all make mistakes. I’ll own up to mine and take accountability where I went wrong. But how someone reacts to a situation is on them, not me. We all process pain differently. I read a quote that says, ‘What others do is their karma; how you respond is yours.’ That’s the energy I’m carrying forward. I’m choosing peace over bitterness and growth over grudges.”

Addressing speculation that she left the country to escape the bad press, Azziad clarified, “If that were the case, I’d have clocked more air miles than a pilot by now. The truth is, sometimes stepping away isn’t running it’s regrouping. It’s choosing clarity over battles that don’t deserve your energy. I travel often for work, for family, for fun, and for exposure. This time, I left to breathe, reflect, and rebuild not just my name, but my peace. Life is bigger than hashtags.

On the allegation that she used borrowed money to maintain a glamorous social media image, Azziad dismissed the claims with confidence. “Social media is like a giant movie set where everyone can be a scriptwriter. Lately, I’ve been watching some of the most creative storytelling unfold, except this time, I’m the main character. If looking good were that expensive, I’d be building my Instagram page, not my brand. I don’t borrow to fund my lifestyle because I don’t need to. I’ve been building, working, pushing, and investing in myself for years. My hard work, consistency, and brand are not trends they’re the results of my hustle. Why is it so hard to believe that a young woman can succeed without shortcuts?”

Azziad concluded the interview with advice for young influencers: “Fame is not protection. It doesn’t shield you from pain, betrayal, or hard lessons. If anything, it magnifies your mistakes. But don’t let the public version of your downfall define who you are privately. Every strong person you admire has had their lowest moments too. Be careful who claps for you some people celebrate your rise but enjoy watching you fall even more. Remember, quality over quantity always. Your mental health matters more than a viral moment. Protect your peace, guard your mind, and never let the internet dictate your worth.”

She however did not address if she has paid the debt or not.
