MISS EARTH KENYA LAUNCHED

This year’s Miss Earth Kenya beauty pageant was launched at the Royal Tulip Canaan, Nairobi.

The annual international environmental-themed beauty pageant that promotes environmental awareness will kick start their countrywide auditions on May 5 which will calumniate to the main gala night on July 8.

The new title holder will be expected to promote specific projects and often address issues concerning the environment and other global issues and she will also be the spokesperson for the Miss Earth Foundation, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and other environmental organizations.

The reigning miss earth Kenya is Grace Wanene who has used her title to educate people on the importance of environmental conservation in Kenya.
