Popular comedian and MC Felix Oduor well known as Jalang’o has left Hot96. He had been there for a year and a few months before getting the new offer.

According to reports he will be joining Alex Mwakideu who was his co-host a while back at Radio Maisha. The two will now host the breakfast show on Milele FM which will draw in their fan base and possibly make it the top rated station ahead of Radio Citizen.

As Jalang’o left, he posted a touching message on social media to bid farewell to his fans and his host on Hot96, Jeff Koinange saying, “I must say it’s been a ride and a half…1 year 4 amazing months of hard work and delivery. I want to take this special opportunity to thank The entire Family of Royal media especially The hot 96 Team. Very special mention to Fred Afune who believed in me and assured me that this will work even when no one believed! You gave me an opportunity of a life time and see what we created in just 1 year and 4 months…a monster show.”

He was grateful for the chance to work with Citizen TV’s managing director Wachira Waruru whom he said nurtured him, “Waruru Wachira…the man behind the brand Jalango…most of you don’t know that Waruru discovered me thank you soo much!”

He then went on to thank Jeff Koinange for his mentorship and friendship throughout the years. He encouraged him to keep on doing amazing work, “Thank you to my brother from another mother my mentor whom to this moment I haven’t even called because I don’t know how to @koinangejeff The show must go on!”

Willis Raburu and Hot 96 producer Cynthia Mwangi were also mentioned and he thanked them as well as the entire team at Royal Media Services.
