BARCLAY OKARI AND JOEL MACHARIA AMONG THIS YEAR’S FORBES AFRICA 30 UNDER 30 MOST PROMISING ENTREPRENEURS LIST

Kenyan entrepreneurs Barclay Okari and Joel Macharia are among this year’s Forbes Africa 30 under 30 most promising entrepreneurs list.

Joining them are Nadav Ossendryver, Siya Beyile, Inga Gubeka, Emmanuel Bonoko and Mogau Seshoene represent South Africa. Nkosana Mazibisa from Zimbabwean, Momarr Mass Taal representing Gambia, Hanta Tiana Ranaivo Rajaonarisoa from Madagascar, Vital Sounouvou from Benin, Kelvin Doe from Sierra Leone, William Elong of Cameroon and Fatoumata BA of Senegal. Nigerians on the list include Uneku Atawodi and Obinwanne Okeke.

The full list of 30 includes entrepreneurs from Kenya, Nigeria, Madagascar, Tanzania, Benin, Gambia, Zimbabwe and among other countries.

Joel Macharia is the Founder and CEO of Abacus, a platform that provides stock market data and business news to investors.

While Barclay Okari is the founder of Impact Africa Industries which manufactures affordable and reusable sanitary pads and baby diapers.
