FORMER MISS UGANDA LEAH KALANGUKA AMONG WINNERS OF WORLD NEXT TOP MODEL 2016
The 2014 Miss Uganda, Leah Kalanguka whose reign was full of criticism as social media went into a frenzy calling her ‘ugly’ and never deserved it.
She has proven to her haters that they were wrong. Leah won Miss People’s choice at the just concluded World Next Top Model 2016.
Leah had been leading in online polls for a long time and she stood a big chance to become the first Ugandan to be crowned as the world’s next top model but things changed drastically as she was beaten to the top price.
Verjiniq Jomes from Malta was the lucky winner she bit 43 contestants to win the most coveted crown as the new successor of World Next Top Model. She received numerous modeling contracts from various agencies across Europe and other parts of the world.
She will have the opportunity to travel around the world to represent the World Next Top Model to serve as ambassadress to formal events and humanitarian activities that can be held at any places around the world.
The first runner-up was Morocco’s, Ghita Kebrani and second runner-up Laura Peto from Hungary.
