DIMPLEPLASTY THE NEW CRAZE

Beauty has become paramount in most ladies life, if it’s not a brow laser, face-lift butt lift name them. And now on trend is the dimpleplasty, yes you heard me right. I think we can all agree that dimples are pretty adorable or at least desirable, but would you go to the extent of getting them through surgery.

So the dimpleplasty is a minimally 30 minute’s invasive surgery used to create dimples on the cheeks or chin. A doctor passes a suture through the inside of the cheek (or, in the case of chin dimples, through the inside of the bottom lip), catching the undersurface of the skin. When the stitch is tied, it creates a natural-looking dimple in the overlying skin. The surgery can be performed under local anesthesia, and should not leave a scar on the outside of the face.

 THE RISK

As with any procedure, there are risks, which could lead to deformities that are incredibly difficult to correct. E.g. during the healing process, the dimples may appear overly dramatic and heal that way or even worse, they can be located in the wrong place on your cheek.
