KATI KATI FILM TOP NOMINEE AT KALASHA INTERNATIONAL FILM & TV AWARDS

Kati Kati film is the top nominee at this year’s Kalasha Awards, the film scooped a total of 13 nominations during the eight edition of Kalasha International Film & TV awards nominees unveiling on November 8.

Following close was TV show Sue and Johnnie which got three nominations for Best TV Drama, Best Actor in a TV Drama and Best Actress in a TV Drama.

Best Actor category Elsaphan Njora will compete with fellow actors Ayub Bakari, Frank Kimani and Maina Olwenya while Best actress nominees are Nyokabi Gethaiga, Joyce Maina,  Anita Ng’ang’a and Melisa Kiplangat.

The coveted title of Best East African Film will see Ugandan film Breaking With Customs battle with Kenyan films Maria, Kati Kati and Kidnapped.

This year the main gala is set to take place on December 9.
