HABIDA RELEASES THE TRILOGY PART 2 I AM

Habida started off 2018 with a bang! She released her new single Searching which was part 1 of her I AM Trilogy.

She has now released part 2. I AM which is the second part of the trilogy The Journey to I AM.

After spending 2017 planning, recording, and rebranding, she started off the year in an unapologetic way and is determined to finish it in the same way!

I AM was written as she decided to take the journey of self Love. She has been through many struggles about being mixed race, contrary from what people may believe!

When she overcame and came to the realization that she is perfect no matter what anyone says. She found her I AM and felt an amazing freedom, which she wanted to share with everyone.

“I AM is about coming into your true self. About being unapologetic about who you are, made perfect by the Lord in heaven; so why shouldn’t you appreciate yourself! It’s about being comfortable with your journeys, mistakes, failings, and being able to embrace your greatness and successes,” she said.

The trilogy is a musical description of her journey with her love for music, love and life. Habida’s says “I have done it for the music industry, my fans and everyone else, but this time I do it for the fulfillment of her purpose and her true self, and in doing so I please God, in essence allowing her fans to see the real her!”

Grammy winning music producer Qura Mark Rankin and Habida worked tirelessly on the I AM-EP and more! Between L.A and Nairobi, flying back and forth. Qura started off Habida’s career in 1998 when she was 17 years old.

Life separated them while they were both seeking greener pastures but life has brought them back together again after all these years to produce Magic!
