20 YEAR OLD LEROY MWASARU THE ONLY KENYAN ON FORBES 30 UNDER 30 LIST

20-year-old Leroy Mwasaru has been ranked second on Forbes 30 under 30 young entrepreneurs and next generation billionaires running their own businesses.

Mwasaru who is making money from waste is the founder of Greenpact, a company, which produces and distributes affordable and high-quality innovative biogas digester systems to get biogas from both agricultural and human refuse.

In blog article published in 2016 the story of Green pact was inspired by a high school project. The aim of the school project was to solve a foul sewer system and make a prototype that powers his school kitchen from Biogas. Leroy has won many accolades including the Innovate Kenya challenge back in 2013.
