DANDORA YOUNG STARS WIN THE FIRST UNDER 16 WANYAMA ROYA CHARITY
Dandora Young Stars winners of the 2018 ‘Under 16 Wanyama Roya Charity Cup’ have been awarded the top cash prize: Sh500,000 by the tournament organizers. Main Stream, who came in second have also been awarded a total sum amount of: Sh300,000. Coming in number three is The Green Santos who have also been awarded Sh100,000, with Young Talent coming in fourth place being awarded Sh100,000.
Speaking at the awarding ceremony held July 26 2018, Operation Manager at Roya Entertainment Abdul Hack said, “We are happy to finally disburse the cash prizes to all the winners from the ‘Under 16 Wanyama Roya Charity Cup’. It wasn’t an easy process because we wanted to ensure that all the players and their parents are part of the process, on top of the supervision of their coaches. We would like to give our sincere thanks to all the coaches for continuously training the players and most importantly, our sponsors.”
Under 16 Wanyama Roya Charity Cup was founded by international Kenyan football stars, Victor Wanyama signed to Tottenham Hotspurs and his brother McDonald Mariga signed to Real Oviedo in partnership with ROYA Entertainment.
