CELEBRITIES STUN AT FASHION HIGH TEA 2019 (PHOTOS)

Zen Garden hosted its annual most fashionable High Tea event celebrating Haute Couture in Kenya.

Being one of Nairobi’s most anticipated fashion events, this year High Tea partnered with Diageo World Class; the spirits company behind some of the world’s most-loved brands including The Singleton, Ciroc, Tanqueray, Don Julio and the Classic Six Single Malts selection.

The partnership, which brought together two brands that redefine the meaning of luxury, included creating experiences like never before, offering culinary and cocktail lovers an exclusive list of cocktails as well as a tailored menu from the Zen Sushi bar, live savoury stations and burger bars.

Celebrities and members of the fashion elite dazzled in unique and colourful designs at the high-profile event as they enjoyed the fashion show. The Runway which was set intentionally on the upper lawn, allowed for intimate table settings and 360degree views of the fashion show. The models showcased designs from both local and international labels.

Celebrities in attendance were: brand ambassadors Douglas Duncanson, Joy Kendi and Kagwe Mungai makeup artist Steve Koby, designer Diana Opoti, stylist Connie Oluoch, blogger Silvia Njoki and media personality Anita Nderu among others.

The annual Fashion High Tea event is hosted to support various charitable causes. The proceeds from this year’s event will go to The Nest a centre established in 1997 for the rescue, rehabilitation and reintegration of children in conflict with the law and children of imprisoned mothers.
