HON SABINA CHEGE VISITS JIMMY GAIT IN INDIA

Two weeks ago, veteran gospel singer Jimmy Gait revealed he had been battling a throat condition which needed specialised treatment.

The singer later confirmed he was admitted at BLK Hospital in New Dehli, India for further check up of his condition, “I have been battling a condition and have gone to quite a number of hospitals and it has been decided I have to go out of the country for specialized treatment. For the past five days, I have been undergoing test after test so that the doctor can establish what exactly is ailing me. Not just the symptoms, but the root cause of the problem,” he said.

Jimmy Gait further disclosed he had undergone an endoscopy procedure but he was not allowed to reveal any more information until the results are finalized, “Hon Sabina Chege came to visit me and met a few of the Kenyans who are here for treatment. It was such an honour.  I’m doing fine and thanks for all your prayers and support.” He said.

But the singer was displeased with the cancer rumours, “I would like to highlight something that I have noticed on social media going on.  There is a rumour saying I have come here for cancer treatment, that I have throat cancer. I don’t know where that came from.

But I would really appeal to anybody spreading those kinds of rumours to kindly desist because we are still doing tests and until the results are out, it’s not right for you to spread those kinds of rumours,” he cautioned.
