TV personality Janet Mbugua shocked many when she talked about period sex on her latest vlog.

The mother of two was addressing questions posed to her by her Instagram fans, “I don’t think there’s anything wrong, I just think you have to take certain precautions. You have to have a towel; you have to make sure that you’ve covered the sheets I guess!

Some people find it is messy but I don’t think there’s anything wrong about health risk, just take precautions.

I feel like people don’t like talking about period sex but it exists we just have to create conversations about safe and hygienic period sex,” said Janet.

She also added, “Have your partner wear latex condom if possible it will protect against pregnancies and STIs and if you have a tampon make sure you remove it and be open and honest with your partner.”
