MISS PROGRESS KENYA IRENE NG’ENDO SET TO REPRESENT KENYA IN ITALY

Reigning Miss JKUAT and Miss Progress Kenya Irene Ng’endo will represent Kenya at Miss Progress International finals in Puglia, Italy on September 27.

Irene is a third year student at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology is pursuing Mathematics and Computer Science.

“I got into pageantry because it offers a platform to cause change or an impact; it gives young girls a voice and teaches them that they can be the difference they want to see in the world.

My cause is focused on the indigenous communities of Africa starting in Kenya.

The aim is to uplift the beauty and purity of their culture by helping them over come all their challenges so they can grow and reach their full socioeconomic potential and express their uniqueness to the world,”said Ng’endo.
