WORLD CANCER DAY: HCGCCK CANCER CENTRE LAUNCHES CAMPAIGN TO CONQUER CANCER

World Cancer Day is observed on February 4 every year to raise awareness about cancer and work to make it a global health priority.

This year following the theme of Together to Win, HCGCCK Cancer Centre is all about spreading the message of hope, courage, physical and mental healing around the world as they celebrate the third annual World Cancer Day.

World Cancer Day aims to save millions of preventable deaths by raising awareness and education about the disease and pushing for collective action, cancer is the second leading cause of death globally.

The centre aims to collect 1000 signatures as a sign of solidarity and hope to the cancer patients. People can participate in the signage as well as leave testimonials and messages of hope for cancer survivors at the HCGCCK Cancer Centre in Parklands.
