WEDDING GONE WRONG: ACTOR ABEL MUTUA NARRATES HOW A DESIGNER MESSED UP HIS WEDDING

Popular actor Abel Mutua was let down by a fashion designer he contracted to make his wedding suits and was not able to deliver.

The actor shared the story of his wedding disaster back in 2015, “I was referred to a fashion designer Dennis Waweru of La Giacca by a friend, we meet him and he agreed to make the suit for Sh60,000.

I paid him the full amount and he promised within one and a half months the suit will be ready, I did the fitting and everything was set.”

Three weeks to the wedding the designer confirmed the suits will be ready, a weeks later he started giving excuses on why the actor could not fit the suit, “But the day before the wedding he appeared with the suits and we did the final fittings, he said the suits needed to go for dry cleaning and it will be dropped in the morning just before the wedding party heads to church.

That morning he was unreachable, we had to ask the neighbours to dress us in whatever they had in their wardrobes. 9:30am we headed to church to tie the knot, when my wife was walking down the aisle, she was surprised to see what we were wearing, we looked like waiters.

After the photo session just before we went to the reception, I received a notification the designer had switched on his phone, then a call from a stranger who informed me the suits were dropped at the reception.

The designer did not apologize or have any remorse.”
