Popular vlogger Tatiana Karanja and her husband Wayne Mutiso open up about their marriage. The couple talked about how they the met and the challenges they have face in their five-year marriage.

Though they have two beautiful kids, Tatiana and Wayne did not plan it. The two say they met at a party and it was love at first sight, “I had just finished university and I came here on a holiday to visit my parents; I had gone for their anniversary ceremony and at that party Tatiana walked in.

I was like who is that girl? I had already set my eyes on her, during the course of that day I remember Tatiana going to eat. She wasn’t shy, she went and put a big plate of food. When I saw that I was like this one is like me.

I invited her to a concert she said she couldn’t come. So, I made another plan and I invited her for lunch, I took her to have sushi and I didn’t return her home for three days. It was a three-day first date,”says Mutiso.

For Tatiana it was about his looks, “When I saw him I was like this guy is the one, honestly, when I was growing up my description of a perfect man was how Wayne looked,” she said.

The couple only dated for six months and she became pregnant, “Things happened really fast in our relationship, we had kids six months after knowing each other. We didn’t really have time to build on our relationship. It just happened really quickly, as soon as we had our fast date, I already knew this was going to be a thing,” she said.

Adding, “Learning we were pregnant was quite shocking, to be honest we were young and stupid. It was a surprise the thing is, I wanted kids my whole life, I wouldn’t say I was prepared but it was something I really wanted. I was really happy; it was terrifying for me to tell my parents and family. But as soon as I told them everyone was so happy for me.”

Though the two are online couple goals, they say their five year marriage has not been easy and at some point they broke up, “The fast-few years it was really difficult there were a lot of fights we didn’t see eye to eye on a lot, we really were not together in that sense.

Last year we spent time apart to think about our family, relationship and our goal for the future. We really came to an agreement we want to be together and we are going to find any way possible to make it work,” she said.

Mutiso had to work on himself, “Our biggest challenge would be infidelity, I had some issues that I had to work through. I took sometime for nine months, during that time we decided we would rather be together than apart. We have come back together and we are stronger than ever,” says Wayne.
