BET HIP-HOP AWARDS 2020: OCTOPIZZO CONGRATULATES KHALIGRAPH AND ASKS HIS FANS TO VOTE FOR HIM

The 2020 BET Hip-hop Award nominations are out. It’s impressive that Kenya’s Khaligraph Jones and South Africa’s Nasty C are the only African acts nominated in the Best International Flow category.

In the Best International Flow category, Khaligraph is not only competing with Nasty C but as well as Stormzy from the UK, Ms Banks (UK), Kaaris (France), Meryl (France) and Djonga (Brazil).

The awards are expected to take place in October 28th 2020. This is Khaligraph Jones first BET Hip-hop Award nomination and a first for Kenya in the hip-hop segment.

Khaligraph took to social media to share the great news writing, “Yoooh, Khaligraph Jones is a movement. My first ever BET nomination in the Best International Flow category, the OG shall be respected.”

Fellow rapper and hip-hop rival Octopizzo has put his differences aside and congratulated Khaligraph, asking his fans to vote for the OG, “We’ve always had our differences and that will remain like that. But congratulations Brayo aka KJones on your BET nomination. All my die-hard go vote for Jones all the best.”
