OTILE BROWN AND KHALIGRAPH JONES SUPPORT WILLY PAUL’S RANT OVER MISAPPROPRIATION OF ARTISTES FUNDS
Willy Paul is angry at the government and the body responsible for handling arts and music in Kenya, Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK).
“It’s so sad that the government has failed to help the artists. Yaani tunaibiwa tu na hawa wazee wa MCSK and the rest. We don’t work for you. Some of us came from nothing like me and here you are, feeding your b$lls and ov*ries with our money, ” he furiously wrote.
However, the video came off threateningly when he stated, “Please if you see me piga corner, I’m not afraid of anyone. We demand an explanation… not only that, plus all the money you’ve stolen ama mtajua hamjui!“
Khaligraph Jones took to his page and affirmed Willy Paul’s complaints writing, “Wasanii wananyamaza sana, ebu ongeeni ama tuzidi kuishi kwa bedsitter….the Kenyan entertainment industry keeps on suffering, DJs, artists, event organizers, bouncers, dancers, waiters…”
Otile Brown also chimed in, writing a long post addressed to the President and agreeing with Willy Paul, “I feel your pain my brother…”
Jovial added, “When artists complain kuhusu haki yao utakuta kuna Wakenya wanacheka waki kejeli! Sasa unacheka nini ukiulizwa?! Whats kuwa halipwi kwenye kibarua chake?! Ni kipi funny ?! Unacheka mtu akililia haki yake cha kucheka?! Being stupid is not bad but displaying it publicly is even worse!”
