WACHENI KUNIHARAKISHA! SHEILA MWANYIGHA SHARES THE REASON WHY SHE IS NOT MARRIED AND THE KIND OF MAN SHE WOULD DATE

Former TV and radio personality Sheila Mwanyigha has revealed she is not in a hurry to get married and she is waiting for the right man.

Speaking at an interview, Mwanyigha says her mum has not given her pressure to get married, “For her, she understood motherhood is a choice and she said, ‘your now part of a generation where you can live your life and do the things you want, I don’t think I can give you the pressure of getting a husband. You live and do the things that make sense’.”

She also said she has not given up on getting married, “I hope so, it is tiring when people ask. Kamala Harris go to 50 years thats when things started happening, unaniharakisha kwa nini? Wacheni kuniharakisha! Marriage is a partnership and I believe you find someone who you will walk through life with not just anyone.”

Sheila confessed dating is hard nowadays, “It is hard and especially when you are in a position where people know you, so they assume they know you. They also assume this the person that you are, but really you are just a very simple person, so, it becomes complicated.

There is a time I met a nice man and we went out for a meal, it was during Tusker Project Fame (TPF) days. The waiter was happy and people were waving, so I had to wave back and greet people, when we finished dinner he said, “for us to date you will have to leave your job.” And that was when were deciding if we like each other and date. I just told him it won’t work.”

She listed the qualities she is looking for in a man, “Someone who is kind, intelligent, likes to walk in the forest and run, loves God, cherishes family and is not threatened, money is good to have.”
