ZARI HASSAN CLAPS BACK AT HATERS FOR CALLING HER FAT

Ugandan Socialite and businesswoman Zari Hassan has clapped back at netizens who have been on her case over her weight. Zari says her weight gain is a result of staying indoors for five months during the lock-down period in South Africa.

“I have heard some females who are 5kgs say I am fat. We’ve been in lock-down for five months going six, and we couldn’t go anywhere or do anything. We just had to stay in, have you ever been locked up in a house for five months going six it becomes so crazy. The only place you go to is the fridge, kitchen cooking and the living room. Plus, it was South Africa winter there was no place to go for a swim or walk.

I used to work out but it’s now five months, it’s so easy to put on weight, and it’s easy for me to lose weight. I’m the one who is putting on the weight, you are the one who is having a headache, I don’t understand how? I’m not really sure what I’m suppose to say. It is what it is.

When people are skinny, they have HIV, they are stressing, but when people are fat, she is so ugly, shapeless or whatever. I am beautiful in my own skin whether I am skin or fat or medium. I’m beautiful and me being beautiful is not just about my size, it’s a lot of things that contribute to me being beautiful. So, let people be, who they wanna be, if I am putting on weight I am gonna work on it.”
