BENSOUL RESPONDS TO MEJJA’S CRITICS ON HIS NEW SONG NAIROBI

Musician Mejja was under fire after netizens claimed his verse on Bensoul’s latest single Nairobi featuring Sauti Sol and Nviiri was not all that.

But Bensoul has come to the defense of Mejja, he says Okwonko did his verse the way he wanted, “Mejja expressed himself how he wanted to and that’s what I wanted him to do on the song. I wanted someone who can express themselves in the new culture, the gengetone culture, raw, and he was.

Whoever feels like Mejja didn’t do justice, I feel like he has already proved himself on so many other songs. Just give the guy a chance, Mejja is already Mejja. It’s like a frog preventing a cow from drinking water.”
