MUSICIAN BENJAMIN WEBI RELEASES FIVE TRACK WORSHIP EP
Musician Benjamin Webi has released his latest 5-track EP dubbed Let The Light In.
The worship EP message starts off from a place of a despondent cry for help and ends at the place of celebrating God’s faithfulness. It features a strong contemporary worship and hope theme, woven around Webi’s signature acoustic guitar sound, which can easily be heard as the music travels along.
“This is a worship-inspired EP, that carries the theme of hope throughout the songs. The songs depict typical life experiences; despondency, reflection, worship, resolve and celebration, while showing the intersection between these and God,” he told Buzz Central.
Adding, “I released the EP because the production process is successfully completed, after 3 years of work and also this feels like the right time to do so. I feel that it’s relevant and relatable, given what many folks are dealing with right now.”
Along with the EP, Webi has created and produced an online video devotion, that is based off of the scriptures that are the foundation of the songs on the EP. It’s called the ‘Let The Light In Devotion’, and will be available on Webi’s YouTube channel. It will also be available as an audio devotion, featuring on The SoulFire Inspiration Podcast.
Produced by Dennis Ihaji, Charles Righa and Webi, the full tracklist of songs include: Help, Freedom, My light, Umenitoa Mbali feat. Rigga and Groove Away.
This is Webi’s most significant production, since the release of the ‘Lukundo (Love)’ album, in 2016.
