GINA DIN GROUP CEO LORNA IRUNGU HAS PASSED AWAY

Gina Din Group CEO Lorna Irungu has passed away. Irungu succumbed to Covid-19 complications.

In March 2018 she was appointed as the managing director of Gina Din Group. October 2018, she took a new role as the company’s CEO, “9 months ago, I took on a new role as the CEO of the Gina Din Group. Today the business turned 21! What an exciting time to be doing this under the guidance of an amazing founder whose resilience, work ethic, commitment & belief in Shaping African Conversations has gotten us here. I’m both excited & nervous as to what the future holds is to meeting the new challenges and the next 21!” Lorna shared on Instagram.

She is also known for hosting Omo-Pick-a-Box on KBC alongside the late Regina Mutoko, sister to radio personality Caroline Mutoko. She is married to Edwin Macharia and they have a daughter.
