MUSICIAN CHRISTIAN LONGOMBA IS DEAD

Popular musician Christian Longomba passed away on March 13 in the morning after a long illness.

His brother Lovy shared the sad news on his social media page, “To be absent in the body is to be present with the lord. I love you Christian, my brother, my friend and partner. But Jesus loved you more. Enjoy heaven.”

He added, “Christian Hulu Longomba (June 30 1984-March 13 2021), son of Lovy Longomba Sr and Mado Zaina made his transition to Heaven, Saturday morning in Los Angeles, CA from a long-suffered illness.

Christian was well-loved and we celebrate his gifts and talents that he shared with the entire world. With great love and appreciation for the support and love shown to Christian by fans, family and friends, we kindly ask for privacy during this time. God bless you all, Longomba family.”

Christian was diagnosed with a brain tumour in May 2015 after suffering a seizure. He underwent the first surgery the same month and the doctors recommended a second surgery to remove blood clots in his brain.

He has since been attending radiotherapy sessions to help him with the recovery process.
