REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA’S SHAMEA MORTON AND KENYAN HUBBY GERALD MWANGI CELEBRATE THEIR RURACIO ANNIVERSARY (PHOTOS)

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Shamea Morton and her Kenyan hubby Gerald Mwangi are celebrating their four-year ruracio anniversary. The reality star took to social media and shared intimate photos of their big day and captioned, “Call me #Mumbi! 4 years ago today we celebrated our #ruracio #dowry. Time flies! Happy Dowryversary Gerald. I love you. Forever to go! #kikuyu #kenyan #love #anniversary #bride.” May of 2017, the couple had their traditional wedding (Ruracio) in the U.S.

On her bridal shower, she posted, “These beautiful ladies threw me a surprise Kenyan bridal shower last night. We had a blast, thank you so much, it was a night that I’ll never forget, treasured memories in Kenya,” she said. The TV personality and the businessman tied the knot on 22 July 2017 at an invite-only marriage ceremony held in Nanyuki, Kenya followed by a reception at the Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club. A number of Hollywood celebrities including her cast members in the reality show the Real Housewives of Atlanta graced their nuptials.

Shamea also made an appearance at her meet and greet party held during the week at B-Club alongside fellow castmate Kandi Burruss and Love and Hip Hop star Rasheeda Frost where they were seen partying. The couple welcomed their first baby Shya Nyambura Mwangi on 25 November 2018.
