Deputy President William Ruto’s daughter June was on May 8 engaged to a Nigerian man Alex Ezenagu at a colourful ceremony held in Karen.

“I was the negotiator at the bride price settlement. The Kalenjin and Igbos share a lot in common. We haggled, negotiated and agreed to loud chants of Igbo kwenu!

Our host Deputy President @WilliamsRuto and wife were excellent and look forward to visiting the land of Chinua Achebe.” said Osita Chidoka.
