COMEDIAN ANNE KANSIIME’S MOTHER LAID TO REST

Ugandan comedian Anne Kansiime’s mother, Gauda Kubiryaba has been laid to rest. 

Through her social media pages, the comedian noted that they held a joyful send off for her beloved mother who she termed a hero and a blessing. “It was a joyful send off of my hero. A vigorous expression of the life she lived and the gift she was for all the people that had the blessing of encountering her,” she wrote in part. 

Kansiime thanked her close friends and fans for the heartfelt condolences and support despite the Covid-19 pandemic. “Thank you so much for all the condolence messages I received from you all my ninjas, friends and suspects. I felt all the love and support despite these covid restrictions. There’s no doubt I will see you again mama,” she added. 

This came four days after the comedian announced the death of her mother in an emotional social media post where she revealed that her mother took the last breath on Sunday, June 6. “God’s ways are indeed not our ways! My mother has gone to be with the Lord this morning,” she posted on Instagram accompanied by a picture of her and her late mother.
