DANCEHALL SINGER HAVOC TAKES A BREAK FROM MUSIC AFTER ANXIETY ATTACKS AND FRUSTRATIONS
Popular gospel artiste Tracey Awino, alias Havoc Musiq has announced that she is taking a break from music.
In a lengthy social media post on her birthday, she disclosed that she has been subjected to frustrations while pursuing music. As a result, Havoc said that she has been suffering from anxiety attacks and distress.
“Been going through a series of frustrations that has caused me lack of peace, sleepless nights, Anxiety Attacks and distress for the longest time now. All this has turned me into a different person even in the face of my beloved family and friends, I’m no longer the Happy and free spirited girl they used to have around because of the things I’m going through that if I start pointing out this post won’t come to an end,” she wrote in part.
Havoc stated that she will be taking a break from music until further notice, further asking her fans to keep her in their prayers. “Therefore, due to the above circumstances, as Havoc I’m officially taking a break from music until further notice. To my die hard fans, my champions, please remember me in your prayers that is the least I could ask from each one of you. All is not well but I know the man up stairs is still on the throne and in control, thank you and God bless,” she added.
The post elicited reactions from a section of her fans who urged her to keep moving. “Happy birthday Havoc. The period of time I’ve interacted with you in the industry I’ve come to realise that you’re a very talented individual. Skilled and full of potential. It’s okay to take breaks to reflect, recharge, restrategize and re-engineer your career. It’s a tough industry and similarly most of us have gone through ups and downs but the anointing is still there. God’s favour is still upon us. We are still stars. When the time is right nothing will stop us from shinning,” wrote Holy Dave.
“The fact that you’ve turned a year older, means He isn’t done with you yet, keep pushing and hoping, that break is healthy. With you in prayer hun,” wrote actress Brendah Jons.
