ALFRED MUTUA AND EX-WIFE LILIAN NG’ANG’A REUNITE AT HIS BIRTHDAY PARTY DAYS AFTER ANNOUNCING SPLIT 

Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua’s ex-wife, Lillian Ng’ang’a on Sunday, August 22 wished him a happy birthday days after announcing their divorce. Through her Instagram page, Lilian posted the governor’s photo accompanying it with a birthday message that read; “Cheers to 51 and another 51.” 

Mutua also shared a message to celebrate his big day with Tanzanian musician Rayvanny,  “Oh my God, it’s my birthday. Happy birthday to me and to my friend and birthday mate Rayvanny. August 22nd is our shared birthday. I am happy. Thanks to God and to my amazing friends and loved ones. Happy birthday to all who share a birthday with me,” he wrote. 

The two held a joint birthday party at the Emara Ole Sereni Hotel in Nairobi which was attended by Lilian and his close friends. In videos widely shared on social media, Mutua could be seen engaging Lilian as they enjoy their meals and drinks. 

Mutua’s reunion with ex-wife comes days after they announced their divorce.  “Winds of change blew my way and two months ago, I decided to end my long term relationship with Dr Alfred Mutua. We had a good run and I am forever grateful to God he brought us together. We remain friends,” Lilian posted on Instagram. I put down the Machakos first lady cap and what an honour it has been to be of service I will continue to do projects close to my heart, charity work through the Lilian Nganga Foundation.” wrote Lilian.
