‘FAME IS SO MESSED UP’ NADIA MUKAMI TALKS ABOUT FAKE FRIENDSHIPS IN ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY
Fast-rising Kenyan musician Nadia Mukami has opened up on disadvantages that comes with being famous. In a social media post, she detailed how friends use one’s fame, arguing that they only like what one has.
She also noted that most of the friends are in competition, while another section wants to benefit themselves with one’s fame. “Fame is so messed up! The truth is 90% of those ‘close friends’ aren’t really friends; they just like the idea of what you have! Others are in low key competition with you and others want to use you,” she wrote.
Nadia encouraged other artistes to charge everyone saying that they normally take off when their relevance is gone. “I always say, charge everyone because the moment you ain’t hot everyone will disappear,” she added.
