SAUTI SOL DISMISS BREAKING UP RUMOURS

Celebrated Kenyan band, Sauti Sol has denied claims that they have separated. Reacting to an article by a local publication about the it break up, the group dismissed the claims terming it malicious. “What kind of witchcraft is this?” the group captioned the article. 

In the article dated 8 years ago, the publication note that the group announced their split due to artistic differences amongst the members of the band. The article also suggested that rifts started appearing within the group in 2008 after their second album failed to hit like their first album that they released in 2006. 

The article also alleged that the group was removed from a concert in Nairobi in 2010 after a public disagreement ensued between the two factions. Sauti Sol lead singer Bien-Aime Barasa issued a statement and rubbished the claims. “The same way it is constitutionally illegal to imagine the death of the president. It is also illegal to imagine the breakup of Sauti Sol,” said Bien
