SHARON MUNDIA TALKS HEALING FROM DIVORCE AND ADDRESSES BISEXUALITY RUMOURS

Media personality Sharon Mundia popularly known as This Is Ess has answered questions she said she has been avoiding for the longest time. Mundia spoke about her marriage, noting that she is currently focused on establishing a beneficial relationship with someone. 

When asked if she will get married again, she said, “Growing up I was so excited to get married specifically the wedding but now I’m more interested in establishing a safe, healthy, mutually beneficial relationship with someone. Marriage I’m not so sure.” 

The mother of one also said she has mixed feelings on whether to have another kid or not. “I’m also not sure, there are moments where I’m like, ‘yes, give me another baby right now’ and there’s other moments where I’m like, ‘you know if it is just me and my little one right now I’d be okay’,” Mundia said.

On lesbianism and bisexuality claims, Mundia clarified that she is not a lesbian, however, stating that she is not against same sex relationships. “I’m not a lesbian but I also have to add I believe that love is love and let people live fully and truly wholly in their queerness and I wish this country had different policies but also outside the policies I wish that socially and culturally we were less judgemental,” she clarified. 

The media personality also revealed how she got over her divorce, mentioning support from friends, family and reading self care books helped her. “Whether you’re going through a divorce, separation or break up, I think one of the best things you could have is support from friends and family, people who have your back and show up for you physically.

The things that helped was certain books and another thing I learned through therapy is writing down my feelings inform of a letter to myself and in that letter what I remember saying, ‘Its okay, I’ve got you, I know this is difficult but guess what I’m not going anywhere, I’m here I love you,” she said.
