TERENCE CREATIVE’S GRANDMOTHER LAID TO REST

Terence Creative’s departed grandmother was laid to rest on Saturday, July 31. According to videos shared by the comic, his grandmother was buried at the Lang’ata Cemetery in a brief ceremony attended by close friends and family. 

After the emotional send off, Terence made a social media post saying that his grandmother is finally at a better place. “Glory to God. Today I lay my mum to rest, I am here to thank God for the time He gave us with her, I hold dearly every moment we had together. Thank you for your contribution during this time, for your emotional and financial support,I thank you.God bless you now and in your time of need. Shosh is happy. I’m at peace now, shosh is in a better place. My online family, friends and family thank you for standing with me,” he said. 

This came days after the father of three mourned her grandma thanking God for the time she was alive. “Some texts are hard to type, but let me do this.I thank God for the time He gave us with my grandama, today I took the last selfie with her and hugged her for the last time,I can’t believe we won’t be seeing each other again,I had so much plans for her but God had better and best plans for her,” wrote Terrence in part. 

Terence also spoke on his relationship with her grandmother, revealing how they used to gossip and share light moments together. “We used to gossip together and have fun, she was funnier than I am, he had a nickname ‘secret’ because people trusted her with their secrets and she would tell them ‘sitasema, ni sekereti’ but she would tell me and we would laugh together.

My brothers and I used to call her ‘grandee’ a nickname derived from the word grandma. She was great and played a big role in our life, there is much I can say about her, but let me keep some as a secret as she would say. I just want to thank God she did meet her great grandchildren and blessed them and always spoke blessings upon all of us. Long live grandee.”
