Gospel artiste Pitson Le Grand opened up about his journey of purity during his days in campus. Speaking in a recent interview, the singer stated that he was in a group where they had an agreement not to engage in sex all through their stay in university. “I was in this group when I go to campus and when we were together we never did those things that were considered impure. We had a non written agreement that we won’t have sex with our girlfriends. I had never kissed a girl,” he said.

Pitson also disclosed how he met his wife Purity, “I met my wife in campus she was in second year and I made a decision as a young man to marry a lawyer. I told her, I want to be the President of Kenya, and asked her, ‘would you want to be the First Lady?’ and she said, ‘yes I wouldn’t mind’ and we started dating there after,” he said.

The two started life and all was good until the singer released his hit song, Lingala Ya YesuPitson revealed that he made a lot of money to the point that he got involved with other women. “When we started dating we were doing well, we were praying – even her I didn’t touch her before we got married. We tied the knot and I got a job in the bank then Lingala Ya Yesu happened and there is a lot of money in the music industry and it was untaxed,” he said.

Adding, “And you know money is a servant, if you don’t give it work, you get lazy and what comes after laziness is mischief so your money starts to introduce mischief. You’re young, no family so there was so much left. I made an idol out of it and worshipped it. With that money I paid rent for so many ladies, I became a sponsor and I had a wife at home then I became this guy without limits.”

He, however, noted that his wife found out about his unfaithfulness and cheating behaviour. “My wife found out through the messages and the money in the account wasn’t making sense. She knew how much I making but it was not growing so she knew there were other people. All the women I was keeping were born again some were serving in church,” said Pitson.

When his wife left him, he went and apologised and she came back, “We went with my family and I picked her but I did not stop cheating, I became wiser at hiding them and she found out and she left again. My father went and talked to her parents and she came back I apologised and she has never left again.
