JANET MBUGUA’S FOUNDATION WINS GLOBAL AWARD

Media personality Janet Mbugua’s Inua Dada Foundation was awarded a global award from the World Association of Sexual Health

The media personality made the announcement disclosing that her foundation was feted in the 25th congress of the aforementioned organisation.”Inua Dada takes a win for Africa! So excited to announce that Inua Dada Foundation is honoured to be the recipient of a global award from the World Association for Sexual Health. This was at the recently concluded 25th congress of the World Association for Sexual Health, funded by Hivos,” she wrote. 

The virtual ceremony features speeches from among others, representatives from world organizations such as Hivos and UNFP. “It was incredible to virtually attend the ceremony moments ago, that included speeches by representatives from Hivos, UNFPA and more organizations from around the world. Thank you, for our growing community here and at Inua Dada. Thank you to partners and fellow Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) advocates,” she added.

The World Association for Sexual Health (WAS) is an international umbrella organization representing sexological societies and sexologists worldwide. The WAS was previously named World Association for Sexology, but changed its name in order to stress that sexology is a tool for achieving sexual health.
