MARIA ACTRESS YASMIN SAID CLARIFIES SH15 MILLION NET WORTH 

Popular actress Yasmin Said famed for her role on TV series Maria has addressed claims that she is worth Sh15 million. Speaking in a TV interview, the actress downplayed the claims, however, noting that she is making money but not exactly the aforesaid amount. “There are a lot of things said out there but about my net worth I’m into that InshaAllah one day all be well. I work and of course I make money but I won’t tell the exact amount,” she said. 

Yasmin also discussed some of the challenges she faced while on set and playing intimate scenes, “People out there think that acting is easy, because getting your lines sometimes it’s tricky because you might find you have a long monologue and get ring your lines in not easy. Also the emotions can carry you away, but for me, crying was not that hard. For me it was the love parts that we did,” she said. 

She further spoke on her parents reactions to her acting career when she made her debut acting on TV series Maria Wa Kitaa. “Of course they are so proud of me but it was not easy with my dad, he was not okay with it due to religious beliefs, but my mum being in the industry, she explained to him and all is good now,” said Yasmin.
