ALIKIBA EXPLAINS WHY HIS WIFE MISSED HIS ALBUM LAUNCH 

Tanzanian musician Alikiba has explained his wife missed his album launch Only One King. The singer said her wife is currently taking care of their newborn baby. “My wife is back at home, she just got a newborn baby boy. He is my fifth child. He is three months-old and he needs to be taken good care of,” said the singer. 

Alikiba disclosed how he has managed to stay away from scandals through his music career, saying he does not show off which makes it easy for him to avoid unnecessary scandals. “Being brought up well helps a lot of things. My brand is not associated with any person who has scandals. I don’t like showing off so it is hard to have scandals. Although it doesn’t matter, someone can just come up with a scandal but what matters the most is your brand,” he said. 

This came months after Alikiba clashed with his longtime rival Diamond Platnumz after he accused him of buying views for his project, Jealous featuring Nigeria’s Mayorkun. He shared a cryptic message on his Instagram page accusing Kiba of buying views. 

Diamond captioned a short video of people dancing to his song, Iyo accompanying it with a caption that read, “Real definition of a hit and a song that people love. The problem with buying views is that you don’t get such love.” Ali Kiba responded to the allegations with a simple post of Stivo Simple Boy’s famous words ‘inauma but itabidi uzoee’.
