JIMMY CHANSA REVEALS WHY HE BROKE UP WITH VERA SIDIKA

Tanzanian doctor Jimmy Chansa has talked about why relationship with Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika failed. Speaking in a candid interview with Ayo TV, the doctor said she was among the few women he dated for a long time. “We were together for almost a year and she is among people that I’ve dated for a long period of time because she was a good person, real and genuine,” he said.  

Chansa said that she met Vera at a party in Tanzania, also clarifying that the socialite did not relocate to Tanzania during the time they were together. “We met at a party here in Tanzania, we talked during the party and later got into a relationship,” he said. “It was just like a normal relationship, there were times that I would fly to Nairobi and sometimes she would come over.” 

On how his family reacted when they realised he was dating her, he said, “They believe that I’m a grown up and I cannot be with someone who hurts me. I can perfectly tell a good and a bad person because I know I can get good things from bad people and get bad things from good people. It was just a matter of understanding her,” said Chansa.  

Chansa revealed why they broke up, “It is very normal for people in a relationship to break up. If you’re not going to get married to someone then it is obvious to break up.” 

On Vera’s relationship with musician Brown Mauzo, Chansa said he is happy for her, “I’m very happy as long as she’s happy because I don’t believe in sticking in one place or staying at one step. Everything in life whether emotional or physical you need to face new challenges so that you grow. So as long as she’s happy I’m rotting for that because she was in my life as a good person,” he said.
