ANERLISA MUIGAI BLASTS EX-HUSBAND BEN POL FOR PUBLICLY TALKING ABOUT THEIR FAILED MARRIAGE

Tanzanian singer Ben Pol has responded to his ex-wife, Anerlisa Muigai after blasting him for publicly talking about their failed marriage. Speaking to the media after arriving in Tanzania, Anerlisa spoke on the need of respecting marriages following Ben Pol’s media interview about their divorce. “You know something that most people don’t know is that a marriage is not like a normal relationship. Marriage should be respected you cannot be going all over talking about your marriage, the best thing is to respect marriage and stop talking about it,” she said. 

The businesswoman added that Ben Pol’s should have kept silence on the or marriage, terming his move a bit too much. “We went for Bible studies and we were taught not to talk about marriage and about what happens after that. If you have broken up let it stay that way but talking about it was a bit too much,” Anerlisa added. 

Responding to Anerlisa, Ben Pol denied disclosing confidential information regarding their marriage, “If I may ask, what did you hear from the interview? Did you hear what challenges I had in my marriage? Did you hear what I did? So what did I say? What I can say is that there is nothing I said nobody knows what led to our separation, nobody knows who did what to the other, there’s nothing I said,” he said.  

Ben Pol and Anerlisa tied the knot in May 2020 at St Gasper Catholic Church in Mbezi Beach, Dar Es Salaam. In April 2021, Ben Pol filed for a divorce from Arnelisa at a court in Mwanzo, Dar Es Salaam.
