‘I KNOW WE WILL GROW INTO THE HIGHEST DIVINITY’ KAZ PENS LOVE MESSAGE TO MAKENA NJERI 

Musician Karen Lucas Popularly known as Kaz has sparked mixed reactions after penning a romantic love message to former BBC journalist Makena Njeri. In a social media post dated Wednesday, December 15, the singer gushed over Makena saying how the journalist changed her life when she showed up. “Fada ghad! I dey thank you! This littu pumpkin of mine came into my life at a time when I literally was looking in the opposite direction but didn’t know that I needed them. They have been light, warmth, understanding, peace and love,” Kaz wrote. 

Kaz professed her love for Makena, expressing her commitment in keeping the relationship going to what she termed ‘the highest divinity’. “I am grateful that I get to experience different kinds and varieties of love in my life because I’m not one to hold out on love. Ask those that know me! So Chris, pumpkin, malenge nakumind sana! Thank you for being patient with me. I know we will grow into the highest divinity!! And I’m here for the ride! I love you,” she added. 

Makena was quick to respond, thanking Kaz for the affirmation and her commitment towards their relationship, “My carrot. The garden is looking up. Thank you for all the beautiful affirmations and love that you have brought into my life! Kazy Kaz you have a soul. I love you. Also, who is malenge?” She replied. In a separate post, Kaz shared Makena’s photo and captioned it, “Also I just want to tuck my fingers in all the small spaces. I miss you so much my love.”
