‘SOMETIMES I’M CALLED A PROSTITUTE FOR NO APPARENT REASON’ BLACK CINDERELLA TALKS LIFE AS A SINGLE MOTHER

Former Nairobi Diaries actress Black Cinderella has hinted that she is fully taking care of her daughter. In an update on her social media page, the mother of one talked about how being a single mother comes with challenges, “This journey is not easy. Some times I’m called a prostitute for no apparent reason. Sometimes I’m called an old hoe even though I’m just 27 years. As a single mother, your child will be used in order to use you. If I talk of the stigmatization, it won’t finish today,” Cinderella wrote in part. 

She added, “I just thank God we no longer beg anybody and I pray for those single mothers still begging to be blessed because the reply is always I’m I the mother of that kid? Those are real questions you are asked that you can never answer without feeling like your womb is leaking.” 

Cinderella says that despite the insults, she is happy and independent adding that her daughter is her first priority. “I’m strong, I’m independent, I’m happy, I’m blessed and I will continue to be the best mom in the world. If you know me well, you know that when it comes to my daughter I make no excuses and so far so good I’m doing a good job. I don’t look for pity, I look for congratulations,” she concluded. 

In November 2020, Cinderella recalled being homeless after her baby daddy whom she lived with left the country and has never come back forcing her to spend nights in the streets where she was raped. “While five months pregnant, I had no place to sleep and and I used to sleep at Gevanjee Gardens, at that time I met bad guys in the streets and some people don’t care even if you are pregnant and they can rape you at your dying moment,” she said.
