WILLIS RABURU REMEMBERS LATE DAUGHTER ON HER 2ND BIRTHDAY

By  |

Media personality Willis Raburu posted an emotional message to remember his late daughter, Adana. Through his social media pages, the TV presenter shared an image of a tattoo bearing his daughter’s birth date accompanying it with a message. “Happy 2nd birthday Adana. My angel. I think of you each time. I miss you and your beautiful face. I will never forget it as I spent that time with you in the cold room and not even my kiss would bring you back! I guess that’s only in fairy tales,” Willis wrote.

Willis said that he should have been celebrating her birthday, adding that he is torn between celebrating and mourning her as the years pass by. “I should have been celebrating your milestones but instead I sit here jealous of the angels because they get to experience you each day. It’s always a tough day because I donno whether to celebrate a new year or mourn you. I know you would have wanted us to celebrate you and so here I am. Make a lot of noise in heaven today let them know who your parents are! I love you. Mommy and daddy will love you forever and always,” he added.

This comes barely a month after Raburu’s ex-wife Marya Prude recalled Adana’s death due to complications during her pregnancy. “It began in 2018 when my spouse and I at that time we were trying to get pregnant. I missed a period and I thought we were pregnant, we did a pregnancy test it turned out we were pregnant. It happened that in a couple of days I started bleeding and called the doctor, the doctor said, ‘your body acknowledges there’s no pregnancy so it’s rejecting whatever is growing,” she said.

Following further examination, the baby did not have a heartbeat. “We got to the hospital, they admitted me and they started checking the baby and the baby’s heartbeat was not there. They changed machines because we were from the clinic and we heard the baby’s heartbeat. My baby comes out pretty and precious like the most beautiful kid I’ve ever seen. I was looking at her and literally she was asleep. I’m looking at her, I looked at her back, fingers, nails, hair and I was like why is she not crying,” Marya recalled.
