‘I TRIED TO HOOK UP MY HUSBAND WITH MY SISTER’ ACTRESS LIZZ NJAGAH OPENS UP

Celebrated Kenyan actor Lizz Njagah has opened up on the first time she met her husband and how they started dating. Speaking to Buzz Central, Njagah said she was not into him and even she tried to hook him up with her sister, “I was working in Emirates and I took four months unpaid leave and I came back to Kenya, I got casted in Makutano Junction and I started sending my CV to people and he was on of them, he told me to come for an interview. I went to their office and I realised I knew his boss so I was talking to him most of the time. Alex later invited me for coffee and I said I would call him but I forgot.

Two week later we met at a friend’s party and we planned to meet for coffee and again for karaoke but I tried to hook him up with my sister. I wasn’t into Alex at that time, I was like this guy might be my director. I wasn’t thinking of him like that and my sister was into white guys at that time. He started noticing I was trying to hook him up and he made his intentions clear and told me he is into me and not my sister. It took a bit of time but eventually I said yes.”

The mother of two also said she was shortlisted for Big Brother Africa twice, “I was told that I was picked for Tinsel when I was in South Africa for the Big Brother auditions. Funny thing is that I have been shortlisted twice for Big Brother Africa. The first one was with Sheila Kwamboka and the second time with Millicent Mugadi. The same people deciding for Big Brother were also for Tinsel and I think they knew it. Big Brother is a big show and I was like it would be fun to be locked up in a house for 3 months.”
