Popular musician Joyce Omondi is set to return to Citizen TV’s Gospel Sunday programs following her exit years ago.

According to a promo released by the station, Joyce will resume hosting the ‘Rauka’ show this Sunday, February 6. The Gospel musician left the show 8 years ago and  joined Switch TV as the host of their breakfast show Full Circle before announcing her exit in December 2020.

Musician Kambua hosted the show for 12 years and left in January this year, “And just like that, 12 years!! Today I got to take a bow from a show that’s been so dear to my heart; Gospel Sunday. I have grown, learned, and loved being a part of your lives. Coming into your living rooms every Sunday morning. Thank you,” she wrote in part.

The mother of one also thanked her producers and those who also directed the show. “To Royal Media services, all my amazing colleagues, my family and friends, thank you for allowing me to be all God created me to be, without inhibition. I can look forward to whatever the future holds for me, because faith is,” she added.

Speaking in her final episode of the show, Kambua thanked her family for allowing her to do the job.”I cannot fail to thank my family who have supported me, my husband Jackson, my son Nathaniel, who have allowed me to be away every Sunday morning. Thank you. My parents from both sides thank you, my siblings, my friends, I love you so much,” she said.
