LENANA KARIBA REVEALS THE REASON HE LEFT SELINA

Popular Kenyan actor Lenana Kariba has disclosed the reason why he quit popular series Selina. Speaking in an Interview with Buzz Central, he said he had turned down auditions for the role several times, “I had actually turned down the auditions for Selina a couple of times. The casting director called me and I felt like because of the whole Swahili thing, it was a challenge and I did’t know if I was ready for that and he really pushed me to come for the audition, I agreed to do only one read. I did it and I was called to play the role of Reagan.”

Lenana also said after meeting his wife Helen he had to make changes, “It was an unfortunate situation because it was not the way I would like to get a role especially with what happened to Kone. There were a lot of things that were happening in my life that I had to change.

I met my wife who is living and working in the UK and I need to change my life to accommodate that because I wanted to be with her. Plus I had gotten what I needed and I reached the end of my character as Reagan. After all the years of being there, I felt like I wasn’t getting more, I wanted to do something else. I have done soap operas before and it can go on forever.”
