SAUTI SOL’S BIEN AND CHIKI KURUKA CELEBRATE 2ND ANNIVERSARY
Bien Baraza and Chiki Kuruka are still head-over-heels for each other two years into their marriage. The celebrity couple decided to mark the occasion by sharing steamy photos. The Mbwe Mbwe singer uploaded a picture of him and Chiki and captioned, “Happy Anniversary to the love of my life. We’ve been married for 24 months. I could write a book on how lucky I am to have you in my life. You really bring out the best in me. To many more great memories my love. Thank you for being my compass. I love and appreciate you.”
While she captioned her post, “2 years of marriage 8 years of love. You are my person. Why? Because my logic matches my emotions with you. Emotionally, no one makes me feel as beautiful, as intelligent, as powerful and as beyond human as you do. And logically I know I’m the best version of myself with you. I know your need to feel free, means I remain independent. Your ability to tell me off, means I’m never set in my ways. Your fight for yourself, reminds me to fight for myself. It hasn’t always been easy, and I’m sure it won’t always be easy. But I’m also sure that you and you alone, are my person (you fine AF too) To many more moments. Happy anniversary!”
Last month, Bien opened up about his marriage for the first time and he said eight months after getting married he wanted to divorce his wife. “My wife and I have been married for two years now, we got married a week before the pandemic started. When you get married, nobody gives you the tools, people are happy for you. For a long time in my life I only looked at my wife as a love interest romantically and then the pandemic happened.
Being in the house all day with my chick every day as amazing as she is was driving me nuts. The small things became the big things and 8 months in, I was like I want a divorce this is too much. I started going for counselling and I was like men I don’t wanna be married. I didn’t realise that when we were dating, I was just travelling. I would come back for two weeks and I was all lovey lovey, then my house was empty for a whole year and I was like babe move into my house instead of paying rent.”
He added that when she started managing him, he became more in love with her, “The true colours started to show from me and we went through a rough patch and we somehow managed to figure it out. It’s moments like this that make you grow. In my journey of alone together, my wife has been my manager, she is amazing at managing me and it totally flipped and made me even love her anymore.”
