COMEDIAN OBINNA JOINS KISS 100 AS THE NEW HOST

Comedian Oga Obinna, is making a move to Kiss 100 as the new host of the morning show with Kamene Goro, the radio station announced. He replaces longtime morning host Jalang’o, who stepped down in February.

In a lengthy social media post Obinna said, “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. Weh! I have been rejected, fired, mistreated, gossiped, laughed at! Not once, not twice, told how I wasn’t worthy blah blah. However as I look back I realise all these have been blessings. They made me stronger ,made me work harder and made me better. Let me take this opportunity to thank everyone that fired me, pushed me away, cancelled me or mistreated me In a personal or professional position, asanteni. Without that I wouldn’t have worked harder maybe. 

My whole life from childhood, to school to work I’ve always faced hard huddles and toxic energy but somehow God just comes through when the devil thinks he has won. This time our God did it again. He has done it for me and you should be grateful and rejoicing as you warm up because he is in the neighbourhood. You my friend, workmate, fan he is coming for you next. This moment when you are at your lowest is when he will do his miracle. Don’t give up..sit tight. We are already at the bottom and there is only one way to go up.“

He also added, “As I start this new journey I wanna thank all you who have supported my career since day one and The new fans as well. I promise to keep blessing y’all with happiness, kindness, motivation and hard work. *NB* I’m the only Radio presenter to have done the whole 9 yards, starting with a late night show, then evening, then midmorning, then drive and now breakfast. I’m contented. To all my former colleagues and bosses asanteni for ya’ll are the reason why this is possible. You all played a pivotal role in teaching me, sharpening me and guiding me well as you prepared me for this position and I won’t let all of you down. I got this. Village Boy, working and chilling with the big Boyz, someone wake me up before nisusu on the bed. Abeg this dream is so surreal.”
