TERENCE CREATIVE CELEBRATES 4-YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF QUITTING SMOKING
Kenyan YouTube personality, Terence Creative, is celebrating four years since he bowed out of smoking addiction. Taking to Instagram, the content creator penned a post that sought to encourage his followers, with an assurance that everything is possible and anyone was bound to quit drugs so long as they were determined. “Today marks 4 years 5 months 5 days since I quit smoking cigarettes, shisha, weed, and any tobacco-related thing. you too can do it,” he wrote.
In 2020, when Terence was celebrating one of his sobriety birthdays, he confessed that he used to smoke over two packets of cigarettes a day, which had hampered vital developments in his life as people disrespected him as an addict. Also, he recalled that his wife had stopped kissing him for almost five years.
“Two years, seven months without smoking. I used to smoke two to three packs of cigarettes a day. When clubbing, I would do shisha, as well, and weed once in a while. My friends made shisha sound less harmful than cigarettes, which was a lie… Every smoke is harmful and can kill,” Terence wrote.
“The saddest thing that I have never said in the years that I dated my wife, we were together for like five years. We never kissed properly. There is a stench from people who smoke,” he added.
Additionally, Terence stated that smoking had affected his health and he had bleeding gums. He also suffered breathing difficulties, and his teeth were discoloured. Now, he is thankful that he has battled out addiction with the help of close family and friends, especially his wife, who has stood with him and channeled great support as he gained mastery over addiction.
