By  |

Comedian Akuku Danger has managed to raise Sh3.5 million to pay off his pending medical bills. The Fundraiser was held Saturday at the Nairobi Cinema arranged by Sandra Dacha and comedians among them were Eric Omondi, Dr Ofweneke, Captain Otoyo, Mammito, Dj Shiti and Sleepy David.

Taking to social media, Akuku thanked his fans for the support, “They say ‘No man is an island’, and sure even the island does need the sea to thrive. We’ve been on a journey, which by now isn’t news to whoever is reading this. Our hope was tested, Our faith was tested and above all, our kindness was also put to the test.

We take this opportunity to thank everyone who has stood with us during these trying times. You have been kind, loving and generous. Today it was our story, and we are lucky to have you to tell it to. Tomorrow it will be someone else’s story. We can only ask that you continue to give a helping hand to whoever is out there that also needs help.

@itsakukudanger ‘s Hospital bill was about 4.5Million, and we managed to raise up to about 3.5Million (Including pledges). We will now have to put in work to settle the bill of what’s left. Remember “When we are together as one, we can definitely bring a situation change” asanteni sana wakenya.”
